This one shows which units are selected by your teammates and by your coop teammates. Units selected by allies get marked by a pentagon, coop-mates by a circle.
Units that were selected in the last 10 seconds keep their marker with transparency ("hot" units).
Any bug reports or improvement ideas are very welcome.BTW: This only works for teammates who have this widget too!

A widget I have been wanting to make for a while. I got around to it after recently playing a 3 way FFA on Conquer Isle and noticing that 50% of the map was uncapped just because of how much clicking it would take to make all those mexes.
This widget gives all selected mex constructors orders to create mexes in the defined square(it looks like a circle but it’s not). It’s got basic path optimization that should find the best path most of the time and other times it’s not far off.
The mex button needs ca_layout.lua to appear properly or it might appear in a strange place or not appear at all. The command can be bound with uikeys.txt though regardless of having ca_layout.lua with the command ‘areamex’ eg. ‘bind ctrl+w areamex’.
It uses the mex detection code from easymetal by carrepairer.
CAUTION: This widget causes freezes on game start for various people. Use at your own risk!

When you are giving an attack command, it draws red circles indicating the area of effect of a weapon. It even shows the edge effectiveness of the weapon through the transparency of the circles. But wait! That's not all! If the weapon is also inaccurate, it also draws a yellow circle indicating where the weapon is likely to scatter (erring on the side of overestimation).
Plus, get a special bonus when using a ballistic weapon: It draws a line indicating the approximate length of the scatter!

They only do this if they have an attack, fight or patrol command which makes it very easy to take control of them if you need to make them retreat or run through the enemies.
It is currently setup for CA, but other *A-mods work at least partially!

Features: - shows time and metal&energy per second needed to build chosen unit/building - also shows how much energy&metal you'll have left after the unit/building is built - if you don't have enough energy/metal to finish the unit/building, it shows time until stall - it considers unit's guarding selected constructor/factory e.g.: if your factory is guarded by nano tower it build's faster but also spends more m&e
- shows how would time and metal&energy change if you order selected builder(s) to help construct pointed unit - also shows energy&metal after the unit is finished or time until stall - if no unit is selected and you move the cursor over a constructed unit it shows: - time until completition - metal&energy expense - % of your total expenses spent on this unit
- build speed of selected builders/factory - commanders build speed is always 100 What it can't do - it doesn't support (and i am not sure it ever will) build queues Forum Link

How to use:
Download widget and put it with your other widgets. Remove any older versions.
The widget's currently hardcoded to unit group 1 so just assign a builder or three to group 1 (select units and hit ctrl+1, or use the unit group widget). If Central Build recognizes them as valid builders, they should be tagged with "cb".
With one/some/all of the Central Builders selected, place a few build orders while holding the SHIFT key just as if you were setting up a regular build queue. These build orders will be transferred over to the Central Build queue and will display as ghosted images tagged with some debug numbers. Idle Central Builders should soon move to carry out the nearest build order in the central queue or assist other Central Builders with their build orders.
Orders sent directly to Central Builders without SHIFT will be acted on immediately, perhaps canceling what the builder was working on at the time. Once the builder is idle again, it will rejoin the workforce.
If you don't see "cb" displayed on your builders in group 1, check the widget selector (F11) to make sure that Central Build AI is listed and active.

When you have DGun as your active command (i.e. your cursor is DGun), it will watch your energy for the next 5 seconds, if it falls below 600 (or is already less than 600) it will wait all your cons/factories. They will be unwaited 5 seconds after you no longer have DGun as your active command. Resetting your command to DGun will reset the timers.

Annoyed by having a different teamcolor every game? You cant tell your teammates apart cause they have different colors in every game too?
This let you assign your own teamcolors for certain players. These colors are only displayed in your game, all other players will still see their original colors.
To avoid duplicate colors, if a color you want to assign is already occupied by another player his color gets changed to your original/previous color.
Examples:
local customColors = {}
customColors["[x]very_bad_soldier"] = { r = 1.0, g = 0.65098, b = 0.0}
customColors["AnotherPlayer"] = { r = 1.0, g = 1.0, b = 0.5}
BEWARE: After changing the file, you will see it in the SpringDownloader as "Unknown version". You will have to figure out yourself if a new version is out and put in your player list in again.

When placing mexes, if the mex position would not give 100% of the spots metal, then the position will be moved to one which would give 100%. Works especially well for placing mexes when zoomed out.

Features: * Automatically divides buildoptions into nine categories: Econ, Fac, Aux, Def, Strat, Fort, Sensor, Mobile, and Misc. * You can move it by dragging it when no builders are selected. You can also use /luaui nested_buildmenu_[command] to customize it: size for size (default 64), cols for number of columns (default 3), cancelonly (default false) to toggle whether to return to the main menu automatically after selecting a buildoption, and uselists (default false) to toggle whether display lists are used (better performance, but susceptible to a bug--see below).* You can bind /luaui nested_buildmenu_press [number] to press buildmenu icons using the keyboard. It is numbered like a telephone (at least an American telephone; I'm not sure if any other countries use a different convention), starting at 1 and going left to right, top to bottom. * Highlighting and tooltips at mouse pointer with the name, description, and cost of the buildoption. * Optional frames (only works if buildicons are transparent at edges). Put your frame textures in LuaUI/Images/nested_buildmenu/frame_[category].png. You must also have a frame_Cancel.png in that category if you want frames. * Although originally designed for CA, it works with all mods (granted, generally only *As have enough buildoptions for this to be much of a benefit. * If there are 12 or less buildoptions it displays them directly; if a category only has one buildoption it is displayed on the main menu directly; if a category has no build options the label is blacked out.

This widget filters the world to look like it is nighttime, and gives most units searchlights. Somewhat performance-intensive due to my lack of GL-fu.
Commands * "/luaui night_preunit" to toggle whether the filtering is done before or after units and projectiles are drawn. Unfortunately, I don't know of a way to do it after units but before projectiles. * "/luaui night_simplebase" to toggle depthtest on the base of searchlight. * "/luaui night_beam" to toggle the searchlight beam. * "/luaui night_setsearchlight [number]" to set the strength of the searchlight, typically 0-1, or

press spacebar + alt + 0..9 to copy queue of selected units into buffer 0..9 press spacebar + 0..9 to paste queue from buffer 0..9 (appended to selected unit's queues. If you paste twice, it removes back). If you defined meta key to be something other than spacebar, then press that instead of spacebar. Works for multiple units too, abeit not very intuitively when you copy orders from multiple units. Compatible with that other widget for factories, whats its name Example uses: Copy build queue from constructors that risk dying, or before setting constructor to run away from threat. Copy build queue, when some buildings were destroyed, paste queue to some builder to have it rebuild killed stuff.

This is an ALTERNATIVE VERSION to Unit Area Reclaim:
If a unit is moused over when an area reclaim order is given all KIND OF THAT units in the area are reclaimed. Features are not reclaimed. Selected units are not reclaimed to make constructors not reclaim each other and so that more control is possible.

Zip files have everything inside a nameless dir (or two, in at least one case). This seems to confuse the windows XP zip file extractor, but 7zip handles it alright.
